This award-winning 360° fashion short film by multimedia artist Kristin Jakubek explores the dissonance between digital saturation and our fading connection to nature.

The costume concept embraced that tension: synthetic fabrics meet raw textures, comfort is disrupted by exaggeration, and nostalgia merges with disorientation. Sculptural silhouettes were layered with distorted knitwear, sheer overlays, and utilitarian references. Acid tones and hand-painted surfaces blurred the line between the digital and the handmade—echoing the film’s layered world of alienation and artificial intimacy.

Part performance, part portal—each look is a glitch between real and rendered.
